Defined as the period of a woman's life in late menopause and after, the geripause has generally been understudied and undertreated. The worldwide increase in longevity calls for physicians to be knowledgeable about the diagnosis and therapies for this phase of a woman's life. The book focuses on the approach to the older patient and determining the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of the geripausal woman.
